Since 1969 the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District has maintained and distributed the Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual which consists of three volumes: Volume 1 and 2 provide guidance for planning and design of drainageway channels and hydraulic structures and Volume 3 provides guidance for the selection and design of stormwater quality best management practices.
Volume 3 was completely revised and reprinted in 1999. Volumes 1 and 2 were completely updated in 2001. Convenient webpages are provided for downloading revisions and updates to Volumes 1 & 2. New versions of Volumes 1 and 2 can be purchased with a CD that contains a number of AutoCADä details and Excel workbooks with pre-programmed design work forms. Volume 3 is no longer available for purchase. All chapters and related software, spreadsheets and drawings can be downloaded from the Volume 3 webpage.
